Sr Analog Design Engineer (MCU)

Location: Catania, Italy

Salary: €38,000–€52,300 gross annual base salary

Develops industrial and IoT edge-processing solutions, including microcontrollers and high-performance processors for automation, autonomous home applications, and personal electronics.

What you will do

• Define innovative analog circuit architectures that meet product requirements.
• Implement, simulate, lay out, and validate analog and mixed-signal IP for microcontrollers.
• Develop IP such as ADCs, DACs, clock generators, crystal and free-running oscillators, PLLs, references, LDOs, DC-DC converters, amplifiers, and filters.
• Lead design reviews and document circuit designs, integration requirements, and implementation decisions.
• Guide layout and verification activities, including post-layout performance validation.
• Support IP productization through characterization, production testing, and life testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electronic or electrical engineering; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of product development experience.
• Experience with one or more analog IP areas, including ADC, DAC, PLL, oscillators, references, LDO, DC-DC, amplifiers, or filters.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience creating and using behavioral models with AMS, DMS, MATLAB, SystemC, or equivalent tools.
