Principal Test Engineer (Power Management ICs)

Location: Catania, Italy; onsite, remote work not available

Salary: €74,000–€100,000 gross annual pay, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Define and lead end-to-end test strategies for new power management products.
• Develop test plans, DFT approaches, ATE hardware, and production test methodologies.
• Drive product bring-up, debug, production release, coverage improvement, and test-time optimization.
• Lead root-cause analysis and yield improvement using statistical and data-driven techniques.
• Mentor test engineers and provide technical leadership without formal people management responsibility.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Engineering, Operations, Quality, and customers worldwide.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Typically 12+ years of test engineering experience with analog, mixed-signal, or power management ICs.
• Extensive ATE test development experience with platforms such as Advantest 93K, Teradyne/Eagle, SPEA, or COHU.
• Strong knowledge of DFT techniques, test coverage analysis, production flows, instrumentation, signal integrity, and hardware design constraints.
• Experience with complex product bring-up, debugging, production ramp, analog and mixed-signal systems, and serial interfaces.
• Strong programming skills in C or C++; Python or similar programming experience is a plus.
