What you will do

  • Lead evaluation-board and system-board hardware design, including schematics, PCB layout guidelines, and component selection.
  • Create schematics for evaluation boards operating across FPGA, standalone, and other platforms.
  • Perform board bring-up, troubleshooting, modifications, and bench validation of prototypes.
  • Translate IC specifications into hardware requirements and model PCB parasitics for system-level simulations.
  • Support customer schematic and PCB design reviews, troubleshooting, and routing guidance.
  • Prepare application notes and technical papers on PCB hardware design practices, and assist with system-level validation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of experience in large PCB or hardware design.
  • Strong experience with PCB CAD tools such as Cadence Allegro or Altium.
  • Background in power electronics, high-speed digital or mixed-signal systems, and control systems or loop stability.
  • Knowledge of power-conversion topologies including buck, buck-boost, boost, PMIC, VRMs, and POLs.
  • Ability to validate prototypes, support production, diagnose complex technical issues, and collaborate cross-functionally.

Nice to have

  • Experience with high-current multiphase power-supply PCB layout.
  • Experience in high-performance computing, automotive, industrial, or networking applications.
