Location: Must be based in Singapore (covers Asean and Greater China Regions, requires travel up to 30%)

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership to guide strategic customers through the design and implementation of big data projects.
• Architect production-level workloads, including end-to-end pipeline load performance testing and optimization.
• Design cloud infrastructure and security frameworks for the Databricks Intelligence Platform.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects on custom proof-of-concepts, workload sizing, and custom architectures.
• Drive community adoption through tutorials, training, hackathons, and conference presentations.
• Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Databricks community.

Requirements

• Pre-sales or post-sales experience working with external clients across various industry markets.
• Experience as a Data Platform engineer designing and maintaining production-grade Spark systems.
• Expertise in designing AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure, focusing on VPC/VNet design, routing, and segmentation.
• Deep knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM), RBAC, and the principle of least privilege.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform or similar tools.
• Experience implementing security lakehouses to augment SIEM and enable threat hunting.
• Production programming experience in Python, Scala, SQL, or R.
• Location: Must be based in Singapore.
