Customer Solutions Architect (AI)

What you will do

• Own the technical relationship for a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts and maintain account technology visions linking architecture, customer priorities, adoption risks, and business value.
• Identify and progress expansion opportunities involving new workloads, additional capacity, AI Studio, Enterprise Vector Store, and analytics environment consolidation.
• Lead technical discovery, solution design, sizing, demonstrations, benchmarks, workshops, proofs of concept, and cloud readiness activities.
• Translate customer use cases into practical architectures, ecosystem diagrams, technical points of view, and business value summaries for engineering and executive audiences.
• Partner with sales, product, engineering, services, cloud, and customer success teams on commercial outcomes, provisioning, licensing, retention, and ARR expansion.
• Communicate customer feedback, capability gaps, competitive insights, and adoption risks to product and engineering teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as solution architecture, presales, or delivery, working with enterprise data platforms or cloud analytics.
• Proven success managing and growing enterprise accounts through retention, expansion, platform adoption, and executive stakeholder relationships.
• Practical experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud, plus familiarity with hybrid cloud data architecture and enterprise workloads.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise data warehouse architecture, including parallel processing, columnar storage, SQL, query performance tuning, workload management, and solution sizing.
• Experience with enterprise customers in APJ, including Australia, Japan, ASEAN, Korea, or Taiwan.
• Understanding of retrieval-augmented generation, embedding models, similarity search, vector stores, large language model workflows, AI Studio, SQL, Python, enterprise sales processes, and commercial solution scoping.

Nice to have

• Degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, data science, or a related field; equivalent professional experience is accepted.
• Knowledge of Google BigQuery, open-source technologies, and the competitive landscape.
• Industry experience in financial services, retail and consumer goods, public sector and government, manufacturing, or supply chain.
