TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Liverpool, UK (Hybrid role).

What you will do
- Provide expert legal advice on UK consumer credit, payment services, and financial regulation.
- Advise on the design, launch, and lifecycle management of regulated financial products.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial and financial services agreements.
- Support regulatory change programs and manage engagement with the FCA.
- Partner with Risk and Compliance teams to develop governance and control frameworks.
- Lead on incident management and remediation strategies with a focus on customer outcomes.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with significant post-qualification experience.
- Deep knowledge of UK consumer credit and financial services regulation.
- Proven track record advising on regulated products in a digital environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK and undergo required background checks.
Nice to have
- Experience with operational resilience and outsourcing.
- Background in data protection and technology contracting.
- In-house retail financial services experience.
