Experienced Field Application Engineer for Israel (Semiconductor)

Location: Israel; travel up to 20%, primarily within Europe with some intercontinental travel.

What you will do

• Engage with customers to understand technical requirements for semiconductor IC product development.
• Assess competitive solutions and advocate hirify.global value propositions.
• Collaborate with account managers, product marketing, and technical experts on application-specific presentations and proposals.
• Combine technical and commercial requirements into design-winning proposals.
• Identify and resolve issues that prevent design wins from reaching production-ready tapeout.
• Advocate internally for improved foundry features and capabilities where competitive gaps exist.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent field, such as applied physics.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, including design and/or process experience.
• Working knowledge of IC design flows and tools from architectural definition through performance characterization.
• Technical program management, problem-solving, ownership, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Fluency in written and verbal English is required.

Nice to have

• Master’s or PhD in electrical engineering or an equivalent field.
• At least 5 years of semiconductor product design experience at chip or module level.
• Direct experience with IC design flows and EDA tools.
• Experience with digital, analog mixed-signal, HV power, eNVM, millimetre-wave, silicon photonics, or SoC product design and integration.
• Project management, planning, organizational, and ambiguity-navigation skills.
