Experienced Physical Design Engineer (SoC)

What you will do

• Own physical design blocks end to end, from RTL through GDS and full signoff.
• Lead floorplan exploration with Front-End Design and Architecture teams.
• Manage block- and top-level constraints and perform first-level static timing analysis.
• Run synthesis exploration and deliver final netlists with scan insertion, UPF, and clean Lint/Spyglass checks.
• Drive place-and-route through final layout and signoff verification while optimizing power, performance, and area.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in physical design.
• Proficiency in Tcl, Python, Perl, or tcsh scripting.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, hands-on approach.

Nice to have

• Experience developing or maintaining implementation tools and design flows.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces such as DDR or PCIe.
• Experience with advanced process nodes of 5nm and below.
