What you will do

  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and general upkeep of all college campuses to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Manage service contracts, suppliers, and estates budgets to ensure value for money and quality delivery.
  • Ensure statutory compliance for asbestos, legionella, gas safety, and electrical testing.
  • Lead and project manage small refurbishment projects and infrastructure improvements within campus buildings.
  • Act as a First Aider and Fire Marshall while actively contributing to the college's risk management.
  • Coordinate space utilization and support campus moves or layout changes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in estates or facilities management across multi-site operations.
  • Experience managing third-party contracts, suppliers, and financial budgets.
  • Strong IT proficiency, including facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be based in London and have the ability to travel between different campus locations.
  • Required to complete pre-employment checks, including criminal record checks and Right to Work verification.

Nice to have

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Health and Safety qualification.
  • Prior experience working within an educational or public sector environment.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices applied to facilities management.
