TL;DR
ICT Support Technician (Imaging Physics): Maintaining and improving computational and educational ICT services for research in imaging physics with an accent on Linux server administration and scientific software support. Salary: €3,546 - €5,538 gross per month

What you will do
- Maintain and monitor Linux-based computational servers for the department.
- Provide hardware and operating system support across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
- Develop and implement solutions for the storage and transfer of big data.
- Support software development activities in Python, MATLAB, C++, CUDA, and Fortran.
- Maintain web-based educational and development tools including JupyterBooks, MkDocs, and Git CI environments.
- Act as a technical link between the department and central university ICT services.
Requirements
- BSc degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical field.
- Experience with Linux server installation, maintenance, and user support.
- Proficiency in at least one scientific programming language.
- Ability to support Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Must be an EU citizen or possess a valid Dutch work permit.
- English: B2 proficiency (spoken and written).
Nice to have
- Willingness to develop basic Dutch language skills.
