Senior AI Consultant

Location: Hybrid in Groningen or Rotterdam, Netherlands; up to 4 weeks of remote work per year from anywhere.

What you will do

• Support pre-sales conversations, establish AI expertise, and scope and estimate AI projects with the commercial team.
• Lead workshops to identify business problems, AI opportunities, and measurable outcomes.
• Translate client requirements into scalable AI solution architectures and define what should be built and why.
• Support the Delivery Manager and ML Engineers during execution while aligning client expectations with delivery.
• Present AI roadmaps in quarterly business reviews and advise clients on AI maturity, adoption, and next steps.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a technical or implementation consultant in AI or automation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Business, or a related field.
• Professional hands-on exposure to AI/ML sufficient to collaborate with engineers and advise clients.
• Experience running structured client workshops and translating outcomes into solution requirements.
• Strong communication skills across executive and technical environments.
• Fluent English required; Dutch is a plus.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AI trends including LLMs, agents, RAG, and data architecture.
• Dutch language skills.
