Actuarial Manager/Senior Manager

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the local office or onsite with clients.

What you will do

• Build the Actuarial Services offering in the Netherlands and play a leading role in the team.
• Lead, educate, and mentor highly talented colleagues.
• Deliver complex strategic, quantitative, actuarial, data science, and risk management projects.
• Advise clients primarily in the insurance and pensions industries across the Netherlands and international markets.
• Manage stakeholders, teams, and projects while presenting to senior audiences.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of actuarial experience, including significant experience in the Dutch market.
• Native or fluent English required; native or fluent Dutch is a strong asset.
• Strong experience delivering risk and actuarial projects in the Dutch market.
• Understanding of the insurance business and regulatory topics including IFRS 17 and Solvency II.
• Experience with statistical software such as SAS or R and programming languages including C#, C++, Java, or VBA.
• Experience managing stakeholders, teams, and projects and mentoring junior colleagues.
