TL;DR

Director, Product Marketing (EdTech/K–12): Lead product marketing strategy and execution to drive adoption and growth of i-Ready’s assessment solutions with an accent on positioning, messaging, and go-to-market launches. Focus on sales enablement, competitive and market analysis, and measurable KPI-driven performance in a highly cross-functional leadership role.

Location: US Remote

Salary: $110,500 - $196,500

What you will do

  • Develop and own product positioning and messaging for i-Ready’s assessment and instructional solutions for K–12 educators, administrators, and district leaders.
  • Drive go-to-market strategy, including launch plans for new products and features with cross-functional alignment.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis of EdTech trends and K–12 customer needs, translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Build sales enablement assets (tools, training, and content) and oversee product-related content (web, collateral, presentations, case studies).
  • Partner with Customer Success to identify and showcase educator and district success stories; define KPIs and report effectiveness to senior leadership.
  • Manage and mentor a team of product marketers, fostering growth and high performance.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in product marketing, portfolio marketing, or go-to-market leadership, including 3+ years in a leadership position.
  • Proven experience in the EdTech sector with strong understanding of K–12 education markets, buyer personas, and procurement cycles.
  • Experience owning product launches and sales enablement for sophisticated or research-backed products.
  • Strong analytical mindset: define KPIs and use performance data to guide decisions.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in matrixed organizations.
  • People leadership experience with coaching, strategic growth, and high standards.
