Planning Analyst (Aerospace)

Salary: $90,000–$115,000 Annually

What you will do

• Maintain and optimize production schedules to align with customer demand and inventory levels.
• Monitor planning KPIs and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Collaborate with Production, Program Management, and Supply Chain teams to resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Manage planning parameters within ERP/SAP systems and ensure data integrity.
• Analyze part requirements and expedite items to meet program milestones.
• Present reports and action plans to internal stakeholders and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Industrial Management or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Production Planning Analyst.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
• Proficiency with advanced Excel functions (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection and presentation.
• Must be able to work onsite in Torrance, CA.

Nice to have

• APICS certification or coursework.
• Experience with SAP, DDMRP, or Rapid Response platforms.
• SQL programming experience.
• Background in machine shop environments.
