What you will do

• Lead business development efforts including strategy development, prospect identification, proposal preparation, client presentations, project budgeting, and contracting.
• Manage project execution by overseeing engineering manager(s) and driving implementation of project performance goals.
• Own external client engagement by interacting with assigned clients and supporting market business plan and client engagement strategies.
• Handle commercial management activities such as budgeting, invoicing, and payments, and lead project performance reviews for assigned projects.
• Develop and mentor staff through coaching, performance improvement, and recommendations for training, promotion, and new candidate identification.

Requirements

• 15+ years of active water/wastewater experience with demonstrated industrial sector experience.
• Professional Engineering License and a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• Strong understanding of budgets and financial metrics.
• Contract negotiation skills, including knowledge of terms, risks, pricing, and payment terms.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search if selected).
