Network Engineer - Juniper Focused (Juniper)

What you will do

• Manage monitoring systems and troubleshoot network faults, isolate problems, implement corrective actions, or escalate issues to network engineering.
• Provision and configure core network devices, IP assignments, DNS, monitoring tools, NNI ports, services, and controlled network changes.
• Coordinate with third-party suppliers on troubleshooting, upgrades, service impacts, network changes, and escalations.
• Build, install, configure, and audit network equipment, hardware, security, serial numbers, and configurations.
• Write custom monitoring plugins, configure bespoke graphing, and maintain NOC processes and technical documentation.
• Provide Tier 3 support for core network, datacenter, access network, and hirify.global services, including participation in a 24x7 call-out rotation when required.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network operations.
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge of TCP/IP routing protocols, including STP, VRRP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and IPSec.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Adtran routing, switching, and firewall devices, plus strong knowledge of WAN technologies.
• Experience with VoIP, VPNs, security protocols, Linux networking, centralized device monitoring, and network troubleshooting.
• JNCIA or CCNA certification required; JNCIP or CCNP is preferred.
• Ability to analyze complex situations, prioritize and multitask under pressure, communicate clearly with technical and commercial teams, and work with limited supervision.

• JNCIP or CCNP certification.
