IT Support Technician (Windows)

Location: Flushing, New York, United States; local travel to nearby office and airport facilities required

What you will do

• Implement, maintain, and repair desktop devices, peripherals, telephone systems, network devices, and specialized equipment.
• Perform physical installs, moves, adds, and changes for workstations, network hardware, and peripheral systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on Windows-based workstations.
• Communicate with end users to deliver precise and responsive technical support.
• Travel to local sites and provide weekend or after-hours support when required.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant IT technical support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows workstation environments.
• Foundational understanding of network and server systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Ability to travel to local sites, including rare overnight travel, and work a flexible on-call schedule.
• U.S. Citizenship or a Green Card is required; visa sponsorship is not available. Candidates must also pass an extensive background check and drug screen.

Nice to have

• CompTIA A+ certification.
• Experience supporting airline or transportation infrastructure.
• Ability to apply technical processes to complex business requirements.
