TL;DR
Director, HR Transformation & Effectiveness: Leading high-priority HR transformation initiatives and driving organizational effectiveness with an accent on disciplined execution, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision-making. Focus on building scalable processes, managing complex change management programs, and partnering with executive leadership to advance the enterprise people agenda.
Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Warren, NJ (Hybrid: 3 days minimum in office)
Salary: $137,000–$180,000 annually

What you will do
- Lead and deliver high-priority HR transformation initiatives from concept through implementation.
- Apply structured problem-solving to improve organizational effectiveness, scalability, and ways of working.
- Develop executive-level presentations, business cases, and data-driven recommendations for senior leadership.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between HR, Finance, IT, and business units to accelerate strategic progress.
- Establish project governance, workstreams, and accountability mechanisms to ensure successful delivery.
- Support enterprise priorities including talent strategy, workforce planning, and HR modernization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, consulting, project leadership, or organizational effectiveness.
- Proven success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives within large, matrixed organizations.
- Strong ability to influence senior executives and manage competing stakeholder priorities.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen capabilities.
- Must be able to work on-site in Warren, NJ at least 3 days per week.
Nice to have
- Experience as an HRBP or in Talent Management.
- Background in management consulting, PMO, or Chief of Staff roles.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
