TL;DR

Head of People (Healthtech): Leading the People function and talent strategy for a high-growth healthcare SaaS platform with an accent on organizational design, culture scaling, and SLT partnership. Focus on developing management capabilities, overseeing headcount governance, and optimizing AI-enabled people operations.

Location: Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area (Hybrid: commute to San Francisco office 2-3 days/week). Must live in and be eligible to work in the United States.

Salary: $240,000–$260,000 per year

What you will do

  • Partner with the SLT to develop people strategies and serve as the organization's change management resource.
  • Advise on organizational design and own the headcount planning and backfill governance process.
  • Design and execute organizational health monitoring and translate pulse survey data into leadership recommendations.
  • Oversee the recruiting function, offer strategy, compensation benchmarking, and succession planning.
  • Manage the people operations foundation, including HRIS (Rippling), immigration, benefits, and compliance.
  • Lead, develop, and advocate for the internal People Team.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of People leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a Head of People or VP-equivalent role.
  • Experience at a high-growth tech company (Series B to Series D).
  • Must live in and be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Experience in healthcare, health tech, or a regulated industry.
  • Background supporting engineering or product organizations.
  • Familiarity with Rippling as HRIS.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to AI enablement or responsible AI adoption within a People function.
  • Experience leading both technical organizations and operationally intensive workforces (clinical, support, or call centers).
