Salary: $121,400 – $161,800

What you will do

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for hardware products and manufacturing services to support the product roadmap.
• Own executive-level relationships with key Contract Manufacturing (CM) and Joint Development Manufacturing (JDM) partners.
• Lead supplier selection, qualification, and complex commercial negotiations for new technologies and manufacturing capabilities.
• Drive end-to-end supplier performance management, establishing KPIs and governance models for cost, quality, and delivery.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to influence sourcing decisions throughout the product lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain, geopolitical, and business continuity risks.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in managing outsourced manufacturing and development of consumer electronics.
• Extensive experience in contract strategy development, negotiation, and execution.
• Proven ability to manage by influence with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience working with Asian manufacturers and ability to travel internationally up to 15%.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ME, EE, IE), Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and experience using cost models.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering or MBA.
• Language skills: Ability to speak/read Mandarin/Chinese.
• Strong understanding of geo-political and global trade influences within Asia.
