What you will do

• Lead the implementation and operationalization of enterprise data governance standards, policies, and controls across core data domains.
• Develop data quality checks, validation rules, monitoring frameworks, technical metadata, and business glossaries.
• Collaborate with Data Owners, Stewards, and engineers to define business rules, critical data elements, and ownership models.
• Configure data governance and catalog tools while integrating capabilities into data pipelines, ERP systems, and analytics platforms.
• Perform root cause analysis and remediation of data quality issues, providing training and adoption support for technical teams.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve the governance operating model and identify data quality risks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in data governance, data quality, data engineering, or analytics engineering.
• Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with data governance or catalog tools (e.g., Informatica, Collibra, Alation, Atlan).
• Exposure to Oracle ERP systems and master data domains.
• Familiarity with data privacy and compliance standards such as GDPR and SOX.
