Compensation: $150,000 – $210,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Own mission-critical product areas end-to-end, from user needs identification to shipping improvements.
• Partner closely with ML engineers and designers to turn complex AI technology into simple, delightful experiences.
• Translate fuzzy possibilities into concrete product plans and execute with high momentum.
• Conduct user research and play-testing with children and families to drive product direction.
• Collaborate across international hubs, including potential time in the Nairobi office.
• Make difficult product tradeoffs to ensure the product remains intuitive and effective for young learners.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in product management or closely adjacent roles like engineering, design, or UX research.
• Proven track record of shipping high-quality products from concept to launch through ambiguity.
• Hands-on experience with AI-native prototyping tools like Claude, Bolt, or Replit.
• Strong design sense and ability to collaborate effectively with designers.
• Technical fluency to engage in system architecture tradeoffs and partner with ML teams.
• Must be based in San Francisco or able to work from the office.

Nice to have

• Software engineering background or experience building highly technical products.
• Experience working on consumer products for kids, families, or the education market.
• Familiarity with game design mechanics and engagement loops.
• Experience with data analytics tools and writing queries.
• Proficiency in mocking up ideas directly in Figma.
