Strategic Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Hybrid in Andover, Massachusetts, United States; office attendance is required Monday through Wednesday, with remote work available Thursday and Friday.

Salary: $27.75–$31.35 per hour

What you will do

• Manage and coordinate an accounts receivable portfolio exceeding $8 million USD.
• Resolve customer disputes, deductions, payment issues, proof-of-delivery claims, and product-shortage claims.
• Analyze customer purchases, payment history, credit exposure, ability to pay, and account risks to determine collection and credit actions.
• Coordinate customer meetings and work with Sales, Operations, Logistics, agents, and management on account issues and order releases.
• Maintain AR data, collection notes, discounts, allowances, rebates, invoices, bills of lading, and collection-agency preparation.
• Process applicable credit card payments and generate credit memos through HighRadius in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Degree or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related accounting roles, preferably in financial shared services.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including spreadsheets, formulas, and pivot tables.
• Experience with multi-currency processing, international payments, currency conversions, and related compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions, manage changing priorities, and meet deadlines.

Nice to have

• Deduction resolution management experience.
• SAP or other large ERP systems experience.
• Experience with compliance requirements in a publicly traded company.
