What you will do

• Develop and execute the annual earned media strategy, including a proactive media plan and monthly pitch calendar.
• Lead proactive media outreach to secure coverage in business, technology, financial, and sustainability publications.
• Manage executive visibility by creating briefing materials and securing speaking engagements and podcasts.
• Draft press releases and coordinate external announcements with Product Marketing and Strategic Communications.
• Monitor industry trends and manage reputation and crisis communications.
• Establish PR operations and report on performance using data and analytics to demonstrate business impact.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in public relations, either in-house or at an agency.
• Proven track record of securing earned media across national and trade publications.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills for press releases, op-eds, and briefing materials.
• Demonstrated experience building executive visibility through thought leadership and industry awards.
• Ability to translate complex financial products or regulated industries into clear, compelling narratives.
• Must be based in or work on-site in Austin, New York, or San Francisco.
