TL;DR
HR Business Partner (Engineering): Driving high performance and scaling the Engineering organization through strategic partnering on talent decisions, performance management, and org design with an accent on objective decision-making in high-accountability environments. Focus on managing complex employee relations, translating attrition and engagement data into actionable recommendations, and coaching technical leaders.
Location: Remote (USA). Priority is given to candidates in key hubs: Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York City, and San Francisco.
Salary: $120,000 – $135,000 + Equity

What you will do
- Serve as the primary HRBP for the Engineering organization, managing complex people issues, performance management, and employee relations.
- Partner with engineering leaders to provide pragmatic coaching that drives clarity, accountability, and forward momentum.
- Lead rigorous talent processes including calibrations, promotions, and performance improvement plans.
- Monitor organizational health using attrition trends and engagement data to provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Recruiting, and Total Rewards to ensure seamless execution of the employee lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive HRBP experience, preferably in a high-growth product or engineering-driven environment.
- Proven track record of partnering with technical teams and understanding how product organizations scale.
- Strong ability to manage complex employee relations and high-stakes talent decisions with objectivity.
- Capability to use data (attrition, engagement, performance) to inform strategic recommendations.
- Must be based in the United States.
- Experience with HRIS systems (Rippling experience is a plus).
