TL;DR

Location: Must be based in the United States or Canada

Salary: $155k–$175k USD / CAD

What you will do

  • Collaborate with G&A leadership to develop People Ops strategies that drive organizational effectiveness and scalability.
  • Partner on organizational design, headcount planning, and team structure to support long-term growth.
  • Manage talent attraction, development, and retention strategies, including succession planning and career frameworks.
  • Coach leaders through performance management, feedback, and accountability to maintain high talent density.
  • Champion company culture and foster employee engagement across distributed teams.
  • Leverage People metrics and insights from Rippling and Lattice to inform strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in People Operations/Business Partnership, ideally supporting G&A functions in a startup.
  • Must be based in the United States or Canada.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and People practices across the U.S. & Canada.
  • Expertise in organizational development and building scalable, high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency with HR tech stack, specifically Rippling HRIS & Lattice.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
