Senior Finance Manager Revenue Recognition (Fintech)

Location: Germany; remote workplace with a flexible hybrid work model.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end revenue recognition for software licenses, SaaS, and professional services across 20 countries.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for revenue and related accounts.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements under IFRS and HGB.
• Coordinate group reporting, consolidation, and internal and external reporting activities.
• Develop accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and technical accounting documentation.
• Support audits and improve financial systems and processes through automation and scalable cloud-first solutions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of accounting experience, ideally in software or professional services.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS, especially IFRS 15, and HGB.
• Experience with financial statement preparation, group reporting, and consolidation.
• Experience with SAP ERP, preferably S/4HANA.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is advantageous.
• Fluent English and German required.
