Salary: $112,500 – $189,626 USD

What you will do

• Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data services.
• Own technical strategy for core data domains and align roadmaps across partner teams.
• Optimize graph-serving data models and access patterns for responsive, large-scale visualizations.
• Drive performance and cost improvements across Spark, Flink, SQL, and CQL workloads.
• Provide high-signal code and architecture feedback through design reviews.
• Participate in on-call rotations for critical systems and lead incident follow-throughs.

Requirements

• US Citizenship is required for this position.
• 5+ years of experience in software development with substantial time in data engineering at SaaS scale.
• 4+ years of experience owning architecture for commercial data platforms.
• Expert experience with Snowflake data modeling and query optimization.
• Strong hands-on experience with dbt, Airflow, and distributed processing patterns.
• Strong experience with Cassandra and familiarity with graph-oriented data systems.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted software development tools in a professional workflow.

Nice to have

• Experience running data platforms with modern observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog.
• Familiarity with IAM/IGA, compliance, or security-sensitive product domains.
• Experience with Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, and continuous delivery.
• Familiarity with data lake patterns and Spark/Flink operational tuning.
