What you will do

• Provide daily support for production operations, focusing on equipment safety, process quality, and uptime.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process failures, identifying effective countermeasures in collaboration with maintenance teams.
• Manage machinery and equipment controls to ensure compliance with safety and technical standards.
• Execute projects to improve safety, quality, cost, and reliability across the plant.
• Maintain technical documentation, including drawings, manuals, and standard operating procedures.
• Identify training opportunities and knowledge transfer for engineering and maintenance teams.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Must be able to work onsite in Flint, Michigan
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience
• Deep knowledge of automotive machinery and assembly processes
• Ability to work off-shift and overtime as required

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Rockwell Contrologix, RSLogix 5000, and EtherNET IP
• Experience with Siemens TIA Portal, Step7, and CNC 840D
• Fanuc robotics automation experience
• Familiarity with Vision and Barcode applications like Cognex or Keyence
• Knowledge of NEC Code and GM safety protocols
