What you will do

• Staff the President in external meetings by preparing briefings, tracking action items, and driving follow-up.
• Manage internal donor tracking processes and relationship mapping within the CRM.
• Draft donor correspondence, proposals, and presentations on behalf of the President.
• Support fundraising trips, donor events, and engagement activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with program teams to steward key initiatives.
• Represent the organization with professionalism in all external interactions.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of professional experience in fundraising or external-facing roles.
• Understanding of fundraising nuances for 501(c)(4), 501(c)(3), and PACs.
• Proven track record of making asks and closing gifts.
• Experience staffing principals and managing high-stakes engagements.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, preferably NGP.
• Willingness to travel regionally (approximately 25%).

Nice to have

• Fluency in a second language (Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, Hmong, or Navajo).
• Experience with ethical storytelling.
• Existing relationships with national or state partners.
