TL;DR

HR Consulting Experienced Manager (Payroll): Leading strategic initiatives to transform HR and Payroll operations for clients with an accent on workforce strategy, organizational design, and global operating models. Focus on end-to-end delivery of transformation projects, HCM system implementations, and optimizing governance frameworks for scalability and compliance.

Location: Hybrid: Must be based in the US (Attendance at least three days per week at a GT office or client site in Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, or Austin)

Salary: $147,200 – $196,880

What you will do

  • Manage end-to-end HR and Payroll transformation projects, including operating model assessments and system implementations.
  • Partner with clients to identify operational pain points and develop future-state roadmaps for efficiency and scalability.
  • Design and lead workshops on workforce transformation strategy for stakeholder alignment and change management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure seamless integration of technology and processes.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance and fostering a culture of accountability and learning.
  • Drive practice growth through proposal development, pricing strategies, and the creation of thought leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in HR/Payroll transformation, consulting, or related roles.
  • Proficiency in HCM platforms such as UKG, Dayforce, Workday, or SAP/SuccessFactors.
  • Experience in selecting and implementing HCM platforms and designing HR operating models.
  • Ability to present to C-Suite and senior executives and shape strategic conversations.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
