Salary: $175,000 - $200,000 USD

What you will do
- Manage the US finance team and oversee day-to-day accounting operations for the US and Canada.
- Lead the financial month-end closing process to ensure accuracy, reconciliation, and timely disclosure.
- Implement and oversee SOX compliance measures and new departmental policies.
- Coordinate year-end audits and tax returns while acting as a liaison for external service providers.
- Analyze budget-to-actual variances and provide quantitative and qualitative business insights.
- Mentor and develop a team of 6 employees, fostering professional growth and best practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with preference for public company or public accounting backgrounds.
- 4+ years of people management experience, specifically managing managers and teams of 3+.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in accounting or finance; CPA or relevant certification strongly preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance.
- Experience with multi-entity and multi-currency environments.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid model in Santa Monica, CA.

- Experience in global adtech, tech, or digital media environments.
- Proficiency in NetSuite, ADP, and Salesforce.
