What you will do

• Own technical accounting research and memo drafting for complex equity and financing transactions.
• Lead end-to-end global audit management and serve as the primary external auditor liaison.
• Design and implement internal controls frameworks and drive SOX readiness.
• Oversee GAAP compliance of the month-end close and manage multi-entity, multi-currency consolidations.
• Collaborate with Engineering to map data flows into NetSuite and automate the close process.
• Deploy AI tools across the accounting function to eliminate manual work.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with director-level readiness.
• Active CPA designation is required.
• Proven experience in public companies and leading audits as the primary liaison.
• Strong technical accounting background including ASC 470, ASC 606, and ASC 842.
• Experience with SOX and internal controls design.
• US-based work authorization and ability to operate in a US-centric finance environment.

• NetSuite configuration and data architecture experience.
• Background in travel, fintech, or marketplace industries.
• Pre-IPO or IPO readiness experience.
• SQL or data querying skills.
