Salary: $233,000–$274,000 USD (San Francisco, CA range).

What you will do

• Drive the technical vision and strategy for the Mortgage Verifications team.
• Partner with product management to build new features and enhance existing platform capabilities.
• Reduce technical debt and ensure sustainable scaling of system architecture.
• Hire, mentor, and grow team members while fostering an inclusive culture.
• Represent the team in planning and product meetings to drive velocity and quality.
• Manage quality incidents and build strong relationships with key customers.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as an engineering manager and 8+ years as an engineer.
• Must be able to work from a hirify.global hub (SF, Denver, Nashville, or Santiago) 3+ days per week.
• Experience working on products at scale within highly regulated industries.
• Deep understanding of service architecture, system design, and lean software development.
• Strong proficiency in TDD, pair programming, and agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage quality incidents and lead technical communications.
