TL;DR

Product Manager, Advertising (Workflow Automation): Modernizing and streamlining Ad Sales operations through system integrations and AI-enabled solutions with an accent on cross-functional collaboration and process efficiency. Focus on building a centralized automation roadmap, identifying synergies across business groups, and reducing friction in advertising transaction workflows.

Location: Must be based in New York, NY. This position is hybrid, requiring 4 days per week in the office.

Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Analyze end-to-end Ad Sales workflows to identify inefficiencies and manual pain points.
  • Execute automation strategies using system integrations and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Manage a centralized intake process for automation opportunities across multiple business teams.
  • Drive alignment on cross-functional roadmaps to ensure seamless workflow integration.
  • Partner with third-party vendors to evaluate and onboard new automation technologies.
  • Track KPIs to measure the impact of automation on business operations and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of product management experience in advertising, streaming, or data-driven media.
  • Proven ability to define and deliver system-to-system integrations in cross-functional environments.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with senior stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Experience translating complex business needs into clear product requirements.
  • Proficiency in Excel, JIRA, and familiarity with technical concepts like APIs and data pipelines.
  • Must be able to work from the New York office 4 days per week.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with NBCU’s portfolio and advertising capabilities.
  • Experience with low-code/no-code platforms or operational tooling in media.
  • Knowledge of digital ad serving and pitch-to-pay workflows.
  • Exposure to system access models and cybersecurity approval processes.
