What you will do

• Build and lead a high-performing technical team through hiring, training, and mentoring.
• Own the end-to-end experimentation platform that powers how the organization tests, learns, and ships.
• Partner with product, data science, and analytics stakeholders to scale experimentation culture.
• Drive technology strategy and roadmaps in collaboration with principal engineers.
• Remain hands-on in multiple layers of the software and data stack, performing code and design reviews.
• Define and enforce engineering best practices to ensure high-quality, on-time deliverables.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in commercial software development.
• 3+ years of experience managing teams of five to ten engineers.
• Background working in a product-focused company with close stakeholder collaboration.
• Proven experience designing and building scalable, high-performance systems.
• Strong mentorship skills and experience in formal career planning for engineers.
• Must be based within a commutable distance from the Oxford office (UK).
