Director of Project Controls (Data Centre)

Location: Hybrid. Must be based from any hirify.global office across their global network (e.g., Basel, Switzerland).

What you will do

• Define and deliver a best-in-class project controls strategy aligned with regional and organizational goals.
• Establish governance, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency across planning, cost, and risk management.
• Lead and develop a high-performing, internationally distributed team of project controls professionals.
• Implement data-driven frameworks to monitor productivity, performance, and milestone adherence.
• Drive digital transformation through the use of automation and analytics in reporting and decision-making.
• Partner with executive leadership and senior stakeholders to support strategic delivery planning.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in project controls or programme management for major capital projects.
• Proven leadership in complex construction environments such as data centres, pharma, or infrastructure.
• Expertise in planning, cost control, risk management, and reporting systems.
• Strong understanding of regional construction markets and regulatory environments.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
