VP, AI Enablement (AI): Defining and leading 's internal AI strategy to accelerate the organization's capacity to build and scale AI-powered capabilities with an accent on foundation model selection and agentic tooling adoption. Focus on driving AI adoption from experimentation to production, establishing governance standards, and delivering measurable business impact across payments and operations.

What you will do
- Define and own the AI enablement strategy, roadmap, and success metrics aligned with engineering, product, and business leadership.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of AI engineers, platform engineers, and ML practitioners.
- Drive the evaluation and integration of foundation models, LLM orchestration frameworks, and agentic systems into core infrastructure.
- Establish governance and standards for responsible AI use, including model evaluation, safety, and cost management.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to prioritize AI-powered features for payments, risk, and operations.
- Implement agentic workflows and AI-native operating models across finance, HR, legal, and other business functions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in technology leadership.
- 3+ years directly leading AI/ML platform, infrastructure, or enablement teams at scale.
- Deep technical fluency in LLMs, RAG architectures, and agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI).
- Proven track record of moving AI from experimentation to production at a company level.
- Strong operator experience building teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders in high-ambiguity environments.
- Must be based in San Francisco, CA for hybrid work.

- Experience in the Fintech or payments domain.
- Experience operating in regulated, high-reliability environments.
