What you will do

• Perform energy modeling and economic analysis to quantify the impact of efficiency recommendations.
• Conduct on-site energy assessments for commercial and industrial facilities to identify savings opportunities.
• Execute measurement and verification (M&V) site visits, including installing data loggers and analyzing BAS trend data.
• Write technical reports summarizing project economics, energy savings, and implementation details.
• Coordinate with utility customers, contractors, and program staff to ensure project success.
• Maintain project budgets and schedules while delivering high-quality technical documentation.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Mechanical, Energy, or a related engineering field.
• 2-4 years of professional experience in the energy efficiency industry.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and personal vehicle for local site visits.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and energy modeling software.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel locally up to 20% of the time.

Nice to have

• Understanding of energy codes and standards such as ASHRAE 90.1 or IECC.
• Experience managing project budgets and client relations.
• Professional certifications such as P.E., C.E.M., or C.B.C.P.
