What you will do

• Partner with engineering teams to ensure equipment specifications are manufacturable and aligned with project schedules.
• Translate engineering designs into sourcing-ready Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical specifications.
• Manage BOM accuracy, engineering revisions, and change management across multiple concurrent projects.
• Lead supplier qualification by evaluating technical capabilities, production capacity, and quality.
• Review vendor submittals, including shop drawings and testing reports, to verify compliance with design intent.
• Drive cross-functional alignment between engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and construction teams.

Requirements

• Experience working between engineering and procurement organizations.
• Strong understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering documentation, and revision control.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Proven project or program management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Must be based in the US (implied by hybrid Austin/US benefits).

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale infrastructure, data centers, energy, or semiconductor projects.
• Familiarity with critical electrical/mechanical equipment like switchgear, transformers, or generators.
• Experience with ERP or PLM systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Arena.
• Background in modular construction or first-of-a-kind manufacturing programs.
