Technical Project Manager (Finance)

TL;DR

Technical Project Manager (Finance/ERP): Leading the Finance ERP transformation and execution of future-state financial systems with an accent on mapping complex operational needs into scalable technology solutions. Focus on managing the full lifecycle of ERP delivery, including data migration, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.

Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite) in New York City, NY or Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Salary: USD 130,000 - 160,000 yearly

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end finance systems transformation initiatives, including assessment, planning, and execution.
• Manage the delivery of ERP initiatives, focusing on data migration, testing, and cutover activities.
• Partner with Finance stakeholders and back-office functions (HR, Payroll, Legal) to align system capabilities with business needs.
• Coordinate with system integrators, external vendors, and contract resources to ensure timely delivery.
• Leverage AI tools to improve planning, reporting, and overall delivery efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical project or program management.
• Expert knowledge of Finance systems and business processes (GL, AP/AR, FP&A).
• Proven experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, or transformations (SAP and Workday preferred).
• Ability to optimize workflows across Jira by designing automated processes and integrating tools.
• Experience managing vendors and system integrators (SI).
• Must be based in or able to work from New York City, NY or Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
