What you will do
- Provide general IT support and resolve helpdesk issues for local studio staff and remote users.
- Source, assemble, and maintain end-user workstations and equipment for both Windows and macOS.
- Manage end-user accounts, access, licenses, and maintain the London IT asset inventory.
- Assist in the maintenance, patching, monitoring, and control of local and global IT hardware and software systems (networking, servers, storage).
- Collaborate with the global IT Operations team through shared processes and communication channels.
- Participate in forward planning to identify and fulfill the studio's future IT needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing end-user IT needs and repairing desktop computers.
- Proficiency with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID.
- Knowledge of core networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, LDAP, SSO, VPN, and HTTP.
- Understanding of basic IT security concepts.
- Must be based in London, UK to provide on-site support to the studio.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with distributed international teams.
Nice to have
- Microsoft certifications in system administration.
- Experience with Git or Perforce SCM.
- Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence for ticketing and collaboration.
