Digital Workplace Engineer (Microsoft 365)

Location: Remote within the United Kingdom; listed locations include Glasgow, Aberdeen, Manchester, London and Newcastle.

What you will do

• Support and improve Microsoft 365 solutions and workloads for strategic managed service clients.
• Maintain Entra ID identity-driven security in line with defined standards and frameworks.
• Maintain platform performance, service levels and cost efficiency across managed service environments.
• Develop continuous-improvement roadmaps and monthly service and platform reporting.
• Build trusted client relationships, understand business needs and identify opportunities for further collaboration.
• Work with Microsoft Cloud, cyber, consulting and architecture specialists to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Requirements

• Strong experience producing high-quality documentation and solution artefacts.
• Microsoft 365 certifications MS-102 and SC-300 are essential.
• Experience with on-premises Active Directory and Entra ID, including GPO, MFA, PIM, RBAC, External ID, Conditional Access and passwordless solutions.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, Microsoft, NCSC, NIST, CIS, ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials frameworks.
• Experience with Entra Connect, networking fundamentals, service performance, on-premises Exchange, hybrid Exchange and Exchange Online.
• Experience migrating on-premises solutions to Microsoft 365, plus PowerShell, Graph API, automation and Microsoft Teams.

Nice to have

• Microsoft certifications MS-721, MS-700, SC-401 and AZ-900.
• Experience with BeyondTrust, Tenable, KnowBe4 and Island.
