What you will do

• Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
• Manage disciplinary, grievance, performance, capability, and absence management processes.
• Oversee recruitment and onboarding activities to ensure a positive candidate and employee experience.
• Maintain accurate employee records and prepare necessary HR documentation.
• Support performance management, learning and development, and wellbeing initiatives.
• Produce HR reports and people metrics to support organizational decision-making.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an HR Advisor, HR Officer, or in a generalist HR position.
• Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification (or currently working towards one).
• Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel to the Aberdare site as required.

Nice to have

• Experience within a manufacturing or operational environment.
• Exposure to trade unions.
• Knowledge of HR analytics.
