Cost Accountant II (Healthcare)

Location: Stuarts Draft, Virginia, United States; onsite support for a manufacturing facility.

Salary: $59,000–$110,000 annually, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Track and report actual manufacturing performance against plans, forecasts, and standards.
• Analyze spending trends, identify variances, and drive corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly closing entries and support annual planning and interim projections.
• Maintain accurate standard costs in SAP and validate engineering change impacts.
• Support capital expenditure justifications, HPS initiatives, and financial analysis process improvements.
• Maintain inventory, cycle count, audit, internal control, segregation-of-duties, and obsolescence reserve compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 2–5 years of overall work experience.
• Experience with standard cost valuation and cost accounting in an ERP environment.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• English required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also required.
