Solution Architect (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote in Germany (Willingness to travel 20-50% of the time is required)

What you will do

• Lead the solution sales approach for Higher Education clients by positioning technical and business value of the hirify.global portfolio.
• Identify customer problems to create sales opportunities and qualify leads from a technical perspective.
• Manage solution use cases, competitive intelligence, and integration with 3rd party systems.
• Execute technical sales engagements, including demonstrations, RfX, and PoCs.
• Provide architecture and implementation design consultation and best practice guidance for strategic opportunities.
• Act as a trusted advisor for key accounts, collaborating with engineering and support teams to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Must be based in Germany.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in networking (Campus/DC LAN, WIFI, WAN, SDN) and network security (NGFW, IDS).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Security Consultant or Architect with proven success.
• Expert-level verbal and written communication in both German and English.
• Foundational knowledge of Zero Trust, SASE, Cloud Architectures, and SecOps (SIEM).
• Familiarity with IT Security standards (e.g., BSI 200-x, ISO2700x, NIST) and regulations (EU-DSGVO, NIS-2).

Nice to have

• Graduate degree.
• Significant industry certifications such as SANS, CISSP, or CCIE.
