Domain Consultant 2 (Network Security)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; remote work from Wisconsin or Minnesota, United States. This is a field sales position and may require travel for in-person customer meetings.

What you will do

• Provide technical expertise for customers’ network security transformation and zero trust journeys.
• Collaborate with sales teams to recommend and develop solutions for assigned opportunities.
• Present solutions to practitioners and senior customer leadership, and lead customer demonstrations.
• Architect solutions that strengthen and simplify customers’ security posture.
• Lead technical validation projects, document high-level designs and use cases, and support implementation value realization.
• Respond to RFIs and RFPs, discuss competitive solutions, and communicate product differentiation.

Requirements

• 6+ years of pre-sales or sales engineering experience in zero trust, networking, network security, SaaS security, or SSE/SASE.
• Experience with L2-L4 networking, including switching, spanning tree, VLANs, trunking, IP routing, OSPF, BGP, route redistribution, and L4 load balancing.
• Strong understanding of NGFW, network security, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, proxy, DLP, and BYOD solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of on-premise and cloud-delivered network security technologies.
• Excellent customer communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient English and availability for customer travel and in-person meetings when required.
