What you will do

  • Investigate and gather evidence to determine if cases should proceed to litigation.
  • Prepare files for issue, assess merits, and secure medical reports and expert instructions.
  • Manage a high-volume caseload with accuracy, organization, and confidence.
  • Take detailed instructions from clients, witnesses, and union partners.
  • Utilize a case management system to produce self-sufficient work.
  • Work efficiently within a KPI framework and record time accurately.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in a legal environment.
  • Knowledge of PI law, Pre-Action Protocols, CPR, and funding.
  • Strong client-care skills and confidence in communication.
  • Excellent drafting, numeracy, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a busy caseload under strict deadlines.
  • Must be based in or able to commute to Birmingham for hybrid work.
