Lead Lawyer - Linked & Organised Fraud

What you will do

• Lead linked and organised fraud operations and coordinate technical strategies across complex counter-fraud cases.
• Supervise, mentor, train, and conduct peer reviews for counter-fraud handlers and assistants.
• Develop case strategies, assess evidence, identify strategic litigation opportunities, and refer complex matters when appropriate.
• Build relationships with insurance clients and ensure delivery against service levels, quality standards, and performance targets.
• Work with regulators, fraud prevention groups, Counsel, and other industry stakeholders to coordinate fraud detection, prevention, and disruption.
• Support team engagement, performance management, recruitment, probation, and technical development.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor or CILEX with the necessary practice rights.
• Significant experience handling non-delegated counter-fraud cases with appropriate handling authority.
• Experience analysing trends and devising and implementing counter-fraud strategies.
• Experience supervising others and progressing supervisees.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, client-care, decision-making, organisation, and IT skills.
• Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, maintain concentration, and achieve objectives under pressure.
