Senior Industrial Designer (Furniture)

What you will do

• Own the specifications and industrial design of gaming chairs and ergonomic accessories from concept to production.
• Develop design concepts using sketches, renderings, and 3D CAD models that balance ergonomics and brand identity.
• Build and refine physical prototypes to evaluate form, fit, comfort, and ergonomics.
• Define specifications for materials, finishes, colors, and surface treatments in collaboration with suppliers.
• Conduct user research, ergonomic studies, and competitive benchmarking to optimize long-session comfort.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of industrial design experience in consumer products, furniture, or consumer electronics.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating shipped consumer products with excellence in craftsmanship.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Rhino, Keyshot, Alias, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Deep understanding of materials and manufacturing processes such as injection molding, foam, textiles, and die-casting.
• Experience working directly with overseas manufacturers across the full development cycle.
• Must be based in Singapore
